Toronto is coming off of snapping a four-game losing streak while Boston is enters play off of a road trip through California that saw it go 1-2-0. The Bruins defeated the Maple Leafs in both previous meetings, with a 3-1 win in Boston on Nov. 9 and a 5-2 win in Toronto on Dec. 8.

The Bruins salvaged the final game of their three-game California swing defeating the San Jose Sharks 1-0.

"We talked about it before," Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask said via NHL.com. "It's about pride too. You come on these road trips and lose the first two games, you don't want to get swept. We talked about it and gave a sharp effort, and it paid off with a win."

Rask may start tonight and is 22-11-2 with a 2.06 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage. Jonathan Bernier is likely to start for Toronto and is 14-4-4 with a 2.57 GAA and a .926 save percentage this season.

The Maple Leafs are coming off of a 3-2 shootout victory over the New Jersey Devils on Sunday night.

"We needed this bad," Bernier told NHL.com. "We found a way. If that's what it takes to go into a shootout and get points and move on like this, it feels good for the confidence."

Phil Kessel has a goal and three assists in his past two games and leads Toronto with 42 points off of 21 goals and 21 assists while James van Riemsdyk has 17 tallies and 17 helpers for 34 points and Mason Raymond has found the twine 12 times and added 16 assists for 28 points.

David Krejci paces Boston with 36 points off of nine goals and 27 assist while Reilly Smith has 15 markers and 17 helpers for 32 points and Milan Lucic has lit the lamp 12 times and added 18 assists for 30 points.

The Maple Leafs look to continue their turnaround while the Bruins hope to bounce back after a tough road trip when the puck drops tonight at the TD Garden in Boston.
