Night of Champions 2014 Rumors: Possible Spoiler On Main Event, Updated Card [VIDEO]

There are two likely scenarios that could play out during the Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Night of Champions on Sept. 21 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Brie Bella Updates Daniel Bryan's Health

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, one likely scenario for the main event at the show could see someone interfere and cost Cena the match in order to set up a feud between Cena and that person while Lesnar is gone.

If that possibility were to play out, Lesnar would likely carry the belt until WrestleMania 31, where he is rumored to be facing Roman Reigns in the main event.

TNA Interested In Alberto Del Rio

The other possible plan in place would see Cena go over Lesnar and then Seth Rollins cash in his Money in the Bank contract and walk out of Nashville as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

It remains to be seen what will happen, but it appears that the WWE is leaning toward one of these two outcomes. There have been rumors that The Big Show is next in line to feud with Lesnar for the belt, so it appears likely "The Beast" will leave Nashville with the gold.

It was announced on SmackDown Friday that two new matches were added to the card as Paige will defend her Divas Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Nikki Bella and AJ Lee while Rusev and Mark Henry will go one-on-one. Stephanie McMahon announced the Divas Championship match in a video:

There are two other title matches as well as Sheamus will defend the United States Championship against Cesaro while Dolph Ziggler will put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against The Miz. Ziggler spoke about the defense on SmackDown fallout:

Other rumored matches that have yet to be confirmed include Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Rollins and Kane in a tag match, Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho and Goldust and Stardust vs. The Usos for the Tag Team Championships.
