Sporting KC kicks off their 2015 season in Major League Soccer with a match against FC Dallas on Saturday, and when they do they'll have a fresh new face patrolling their sidelines.
Kacie McDonnell Joining The Sporting KC Broadcast Team
TV news anchor Kacie McDonnell is beginning a stint as a pregame, postgame and field reporter for the team's broadcast, a role she's taken up in addition to being a news anchor for the city's 41 Action News channel.
McDonnell moved to Kansas City from Philadelphia when she was engaged to Chiefs back-up quarterback Aaron Murray. However, the couple split a few months ago under amicable circumstances.

This isn't McDonnell's first foray into sports broadcasting. She covered multiple games and events surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles franchise when she worked for the City of Brotherley Love's Fox 29.
On Thursday Kacie teased her television debut for Sporting KC with a new Instagram photo.
