Jordan Clarkson may be the latest Lakers star to become single.
The Los Angeles guard has been linked to model Kendall Jenner for months, but it seems she may have moved on from him to a rapper.
Jenner is now reportedly "full-on dating" rapper A$AP Rocky, according to a report by US Weekly. A source told the publication that the couple is "the real deal," and that the 20-year-old model goes above and beyond to see the rapper.
Jenner and A$AP Rocky have been spotted together on several occasions throughout the summer, which led to speculation that her fling with Clarkson may be over. It's possible the Lakers star was a rebound after the model's long-term relationship with musician Harry Styles came to an end.
Prior to A$AP Rocky entering the picture, Clarkson was asked point blank about his perceived relationship with Jenner and continued with his low-key nature.
"I keep all my personal stuff to myself, man," Clarkson told 'Extra.' last month."So even if that was something that's happening or was happening, you would never know."
Rumors of a Clarkson-Jenner relationship were circulating for months. Most recently, the two were seen together at a Fourth of July party. US Weekly reported that Jenner and A$AP Rocky were spotted out together on July 24, not long after Independence Day.
The NBA star and super model were previously seen together in March and then spotted with one another at Coachella in April, but they avoided the spotlight in recent months -- which could be due to them not being exclusive.
Clarkson, 24, and Jenner, 20, were very private at events when they were spotted together.
"Kendall and Jordan weren't showing any PDA," a source told Page Six about their behavior at the party on Independence Day. "One of her girlfriends sat between them."
Reports surfaced back in April that the pair had been "secretly dating" for months. It was also noted that Clarkson was very taken with reality star.
"They keep things low-key when they're in public, but in private they're very much together and affectionate," a source told People.com in April. "He's really into her."
It's unknown what led to the end of the courtship, but perhaps its a blessing as it won't keep Clarkson too distracted next season.
As it is, the Lakers dealt with enough off-court drama last season. The Iggy Azalea and Nick Young issue reached its climax with a split, then rumors of a breakup between D'Angelo Russell and his girlfriend, Niki Withers, surfaced recently.
Jenner also is part of the Kardashian clan, so it might be wise for Clarkson to avoid falling into the hole of such athletes as Lamar Odom, who has never-ending drama with Khloe Kardashian.
