Barcelona News: Lionel Messi Wants Munir In And Paco Alcacer Out

Lionel Messi is looking unhappy with Paco Alcacer's performance this season and wants Munir in the Catalan side again. The player had a bad spell since arriving at Camp Nou back in the summer. Reports suggest Barcelona is preparing to sell Paco this season. On the other hand, Munir is on loan from Valencia since August.

Paco Alcacer came to Barcelona to fight for the place of the striker in the team with Luis Suarez but he failed to do so. Don Balon claims that Barcelona might sell the player in the summer. If it happens, Munir might have his place in the Catalan side again. The player's performance in Valencia so far remains good.

So far this season, Paco has scored only two goals and played only 12-minute of football in the last 15 games, reported Express. Reports also suggest the Argentine wanted to keep Munir in Barca but Luis Enrique has signed Paco, instead. As Barca Manager is likely to leave at the end of this season, there are huge chances that Munir will back in Catalan side.

Lionel Messi is reportedly not pleased with the Barcelona recent performance. The team is on the brink of getting out of Champions League and are behind Real Madrid by 1 point in La Liga. Notably, Real has a one game advantage also in the home league.

Barcelona had lost the first leg of the round of 16 of Champions League against PSG with 4-0. It was regarded as one of the worst defeat of the club in recent years. The second leg will be played at the Nou Camp. Barca will need to play the game of their lives if they want anything out it. At the current time, the team is struggling and winning matches with very fewer margins. Stay tuned for more Barcelona updates.
