After a dismal outing that saw him score 8 points on 4-of-11 shooting and 0-3 from long distance, D'Angelo Rusell was spotted taking extra shots on the Denver Nuggets home floor.

The 27-year-old guard was reacquired by the Los Angeles Lakers in an eight-player trade deadline deal last February.

Russell previously played for the purple-and-gold franchise from 2015 to 2017 as their 2nd overall selection in the 2015 NBA Draft.

The Lakers' furious rally fell short in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, bowing to the Nuggets 132-126 on Tuesday night at the Ball Arena in Denver.

D'Angelo Russell, Max Christie Doing Shooting Workout Postgame

Russell, still in his full game attire, was accompanied in the shooting workout by rookie Max Christie.

Christie was the Lakers' 35th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. He spent time with Lakers G-League affiliate South Bay Lakers this season and is currently on a two-year entry-level deal worth $2,737,645.

In two clips making rounds on social media, the two Lakers appeared to take shots from the three-point distance on the right side of the floor.

Former NBA player JJ Redick, who played 15 seasons in the league, didn't hold back his words about footage of NBA players shooting after a game.

"Can we stop posting videos of players shooting after a game?" the sharpshooter said.

The Lakers look to bounce back against the Nuggets on Thursday evening in the same building for Game 2.
