UFC 282: Pimblett v Gordon
(Photo : Sean M. Haffey/Getty Images) LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - Paddy Pimblett of England stands in his corner as he's introduced prior to facing Jared Gordon in a lightweight fight during the UFC 282 event at T-Mobile Arena on December 10, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Paddy Pimblett is on hiatus as he continues his recovery from an injury incurred in the win against Jared Gordon in December last year.

Still, his name continues to be brought up in the mixed martial arts circle.

The British fighter finally made his presence felt by responding to the challenge made by Youtube star Logan Paul who wants to fight as an undercard for the dream octagon match between billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.

Pimblett is ready to come out of rehab, fight Paul, and take his money.

"I'll take his wages then," he told SlothBoxx.

"I'll fight for his wages and my own. Of course, it's a publicity stunt. But it works well for me because I'm not fighting and people are still talking about me."

Pimblett is confused about how his name always comes up in conversations, even if he hasn't fought for half a year.

"That shows I'm doing everything right. I haven't fought in over 6-7 months, and people are still talking about me; I'm not even ranked. But I'm still the name on the tip of everyone's tongue."

Drew Dober wants Pimblett's head, too

While Logan Paul is viewed as just another celebrity who wants a crack at UFC, a legit UFC contender also intends to fight Pimblett.

Fresh from a May loss to Matt Frevola, American lightweight fighter Drew Dober said he is ready to fight again and wants someone in the Top 10. He is choosing Pimblett.

"I wonder if he's going to find his courage and take a fight with me."

Pimblett is in demand, and he better choose one opponent soon.
