Ferrari's team principal Frederic Vasseur finds comfort in the fact that when Red Bull is put under pressure, they could become susceptible to making mistakes. The Austrian team may take extra precautions ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka, knowing Ferrari is now not too far off their pace and is waiting for them to slip up again.

Red Bull is not impervious to problems, and quite frankly, has not been put in an uncomfortable position in the past two seasons.

With Ferrari now breathing down Red Bull's neck, we may see some more mistakes in tuning and strategy from the Championship leaders, being that they won't be coasting to victory as comfortably as they recently were.

Red Bull Not Used to Being Hunted

Pressure at Red Bull is put on development and reliability as Ferrari continues to gain fast in design and have maximized their results in all three opening races. Reliability for Red Bull could rear its ugly head, as the Austrian team have had some issues in the shifter and brakes throughout the season.

These problems were, for the most part, covered up by their victories; but we could possibly be in store for some more misqueues from the Red Bull Racing team through the rest of the season. And if Ferrari could keep it close in the early stages of the season, once development catches up for the SF-24, we could be witnessing a Championship battle from mid-late in the F1 2024 season.
