WWE Payback 2014 Rumors and News: Latest Backstage News On Pay-Per-View [VIDEO]

Sunday night the WWE presents Payback 2014 live from the Allstate Arena in Illinois and here are the latest news and rumors surrounding the pay-per-view event.

WWE Payback 2014 Preview and Predictions

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the latest betting odds for the event have El Torito as the favorite to go over Hornswoggle, Paige is a favorite to defeat Alicia Fox, John Cena is a slight favorite to defeat Bray Wyatt, The Shield are slightly favored to defeat Evolution, and Bad News Barrett and Sheamus are the favorites to retain their titles.

Triple H tweeted a photo on Saturday night of himself working out in preparation for The Shield and Evolution six-man No Holds Barred elimination tag team match.

The Case For And Against CM Punk Returning At Payback

"Si vis pacem, para bellum. If You Want Peace, Prepare for War. Tomorrow, the last battle... #WWEPayback," 'The Game' tweeted.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair told WWE.com that he predicts Evolution will win the six-man match.

Barrett spoke to Thisisfamous.com about his match with Van Dam for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

"I've wrestled Rob a few times now" he told the site. "About a year ago back when he first came back to WWE and I've wrestled him on a couple of live events recently. His offense really is probably the most unique I've ever faced. The kind of kicks he can do come from every angle. Believe me, when he throws those kicks he really throws them. I imagine a few people have lost a few teeth over the years from those kicks. He's a great performer, he's got those amazing acrobatic skills that, for most people, those kind of diminish as they get older, but with him they haven't diminished at all."

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the WWE is looking for Payback to be a great show because after the success of the NXT Takeover special last Thursday, there is a feeling that the WWE doesn't want its developmental show to outshine its regular pay-per-view event.

WWE Payback airs tonight at the Allstate Arena, and here is the final card for the show:
