The transfer window opens the opportunity for all clubs to bolster their rosters. It also opens the opportunity for media outlets to report even the most absurd transfer rumors. The latest involve AC Milan forward Robinho and Tigres UANL, with Cancha (via Univision Deportes) reporting an interest from the Mexican outfit.

Robinho has slowly been falling out of favor in Italy, making just 15 league starts for AC Milan this past season. In them, the 30-year-old only managed to contribute just three goals and five assists. A transfer would only help rejuvenate his career.
Tigres, however, isn't the only club pursuing his services. MLS outfits Orlando City SC and the New England Revolution have also been reported as a potential landing spot. With a $2.7 million yearly salary, all three of the aforementioned clubs may have already been priced out of the market.

One thing is a virtual certainty: Robinho will not be returning to AC Milan following the 2014 World Cup. His agent, Marisa Ramos, even went as far as publicly expressing his client's openness to exit the San Siro. "Robinho has a contract until 2016," Ramos told Milan News (via Forza Italian Football). "If an agreement was to be reached between Milan and another club, we would have the chance to assess the situation."
When asked about potential landing spots, Ramos added, "We always talk about Santos. It is true that Robinho love Santos, but first and foremost, he is a professional. Had he been just a fan, he never would have left them."
"Santos remains the preferred choice, but we must consider all of the options that open up to us."
Despite Cancha's rumors, Tigres UANL does not appear to be of those said options. The club's sporting director (via Fox Deportes' Cesar Caballero) has dismissed any interest in Robinho, vehemently claiming the Brazilian will not be joining his side.
