The Los Angeles Lakers are struggling this season, spending the entire year near the bottom of the Western Conference standings, and shooting guard Kobe Bryant is on the shelf for the remainder of the year with a rotator cuff injury.

Now that he is out and has to focus on his rehab, Bryant also has plenty of time to pursue things off of the court. According to TMZ, Bryant took some time during All Star weekend to pull out all the stops for his wife Vanessa on Valentine's Day.
Since Kobe was not part of the All Star game because of his injury, he instead took his wife for a ride... in his personal helicopter. The couple flew around the city as part of a romantic getaway over the weekend, and the made sure to take some selfies while they were in the air.

Kobe has reportedly been using the helicopter for several years to get to the Staples Center from his home in Orange County. The traffic often can make the long drive interminable, so Kobe prefers to take the chopper so that he can avoid the roads.
Obviously he will not have a reason to do that for the rest of this season, but he still somehow managed to get at least one more use for the bird before the end of the year.
