Rumors about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 still banners the headline of the news. As many gadget enthusiasts are waiting for its release, another leak on its feature is another hot topic on online today. Recent reports are saying that the Galaxy S8 will sports an incredible display that will surely make consumers more entice.
Samsung is one of the world renowned and leading company in the electronic industry today. They are also one of the pioneers when it comes to electronic devices and telecommunication equipment. As the growing market for smartphones is projected to grow in the coming years, the company continue to design and develop their products in able to beat competitors like Apple.
But as many of their loyal buyers await the release date of their next flagship project, the Galaxy S8, there are rumors spreading about the stunning display it will offer. According to VR-Zone, a source from China revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a 1440 x 2960 resolution which is Super AMOLED QHD display.
What is unusual on the device is that it will have 18.5:9 aspect ratio which will cover almost the whole front panel. The pixel density was also disclosed for the two types of the Galaxy S8. The 5.8-inch display will have 567 pixels per inch while the 6.2-inch version will have 531 pixels per inch which means that the display will much bigger than the Galaxy S7's 5.5-inch screen.
The report also says that Samsung Electronics will unveil the project at an event in New York City on March and not in the Mobile World Congress in February which they usually do. But aside from the display, other features of the device was also disclosed in a separate report.
According to Android Community, the Galaxy S8 will be supported by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or the Samsung Exynos 8895 10nm FinFET processor. It will also be powered by a 4GB RAM with a 64GB internal storage but will have a microSD expansion of up to 256 GB.
The device will also have a 12MP rear camera while the shooter camera will be at 8MP. The batteries will also vary as the 5.8-inch type will have 3,000mAh while the 6.2-inch will sports a 3,500mAh. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will also feature Bixby, the virtual AI assistant.
