LeBron James News: NBA Superstar First To Score 20,000 Points For Clevelands Cavaliers

LeBron James became the first player ever to score 20,000 for Cleveland Cavaliers. He achieved this feat while they beat Oklahoma Thunder by 107-91.

The 32-year-old Lebron James came to the court when he needed just six points to cross this mark. When 9 minutes 39 seconds were remaining in the second quarter, James scored a layup to clinch 20,001 points in the 10 seasons he has played with Cleveland. He scored total 25 points in this match on Sunday.

Westbrook scored his 24th triple-double of this season. He scored 20 points in the match and also grabbed 12 rebounds. Lebron James after having crossed the 20,000 point mark now has double the points than second in the list Zydrunas Ilgauskas who has 10,616 points as reported by ESPN

"I'm blessed I've played with some great teammates in this uniform the last three years and obviously my first seven in the league," James told and he further added "Those guys set screens for me, they rebound the ball, kick it to me, they work their tails off for me to be able to put up 20,000 as a Cav."

Lebron James now is eight in the list of NBA's all-time scoring list. James now has a total of 27,938 career points. "For me, I just got to do my part. That's bust my butt in workouts, offseason, and practices and see what happens. It's just the teammates I've had have given me assists. Like tonight they block shots and let me get out in transition and assisted me. It's pretty cool" said James as reported in BBC.

LeBron James debuted in the year 2003 and has got three NBA championship along with four Most Valuable Player Awards and three NBA finals MVP awards. James also has two Gold medals in Olympics in the year 2008 and 2012 and a Bronze at Athens in 2004.
