It is no secret that Apple is gearing up to introduce their flagship smartphone for this year, the iPhone 8. These early, many gadget enthusiasts are excited to know what new features it will introduce to excel from others. But, the latest buzz is saying that there is nothing new about it and will have the same technology just like the other smartphone in the market.
The Apple company is well-known for their cutting-edge and reliable products that they manufacture and release in the market. They are one of the most trusted names when it comes to the resiliency of the device most especially their smartphone merchandise. And their iPhone products is one of the best sellers in the market today.
But, recent reports are saying that the incoming flagship smartphone is just like any other smartphone device available in the market today. According to Forbes, as Apple is also celebrating the 10th anniversary of the iPhone models, iPhone 8 will likely have a new design as already hinted last September. The change is about the curved screen that is using an OLED technology, a first for iPhone.
However, the same screen technology will also be introduced by their competitors as per stated in the report. Samsung and Google will also use OLED technology both for Galaxy S8 and tentatively named Pixel 2, respectively. It doesn't mean that they will have the same screen as the three smartphones might vary in sizes, aspect ratios, and pixel-per-inch figures.
But a recent iPhone 8 commercial that was released just recently, shows an interesting potential for the said device. According to 9 to 5 Mac, the new video reveals a display that seems to cover the whole facade of the device, a design that looks like to be similar to the iPhone 7 Plus with some additional features.
Some other rumored features comprise a new facial recognition or a new biometric sensor that will change the Touch ID, an improved AI assistant, a wireless charging, a large OLED display and a flexible display with a 3D Touch attribute. Up until now, Apple is still mum about the iPhone 8 design and new features but the latest commercial is surely interesting and exciting for iPhone consumers.
