Alabama coach Nick Saban will look to keep his team focused as it looks to defeat Mississippi State for the fifth straight time as the Bull Dogs haven't scored more than 10 points against the Crimson Tide in their last five meetings. Top-ranked Alabama is looking for its first perfect season since 2009 and is three games away from doing it again.

Alabama is coming off of a big 38-17 win over LSU, but Saban wants them to stay focused.

"You cannot take things for granted," Saban said Monday, according to ESPN. "There can't be any kind of relief syndrome that, 'We got by that game.' I think the most important thing -- and I think this last game sort of showed that -- the team we want to be is the team we were in the second half, an aggressive team that's trying to control the line of scrimmage. Not a team playing with a lot of anxiety that's worried about making mistakes and errors. We made a lot of mental errors in the first half of the game."

While Alabama secured a big win last week, Saban has demanded that his players stay focused and doesn't want them to take Mississippi State lightly after a big win.

"I think everybody's just more, I guess, relaxed after that game," wide receiver Kevin Norwood said via ESPN. "But at the same time, everybody knows that we must continue to keep this momentum going so we can build for the next game and the next game and the next game after that."

Norwood has 27 receptions for 386 yards and four scores thus far this season. If the Tide can win its next three games and then the SEC title game, it stares down the possibility of a third straight national title game.

"We're not going to get caught up in this one win," quarterback AJ McCarron told ESPN after last week's win. "It happened to us last year, so we'll be ready to go."

McCarron is 159-for-229 (69.4%) for 2,041 yards with 19 touchdowns and three picks this season.

The Bulldogs, meanwhile, have scored a total of three points in the first three quarters over their last four games, and are not expected by many to win this game. The team has also given up 85 points in its last two games. Still, Mississippi State has showed signs of life and some heart this season.

"I'll be honest with you. Earlier in the season we played LSU and fell behind by a couple of scores in the fourth quarter. I think doubt crept in our guys' minds," coach Dan Mullen told ESPN "They may have thought, 'I don't know, maybe we can't make a comeback.'"

Alabama will look to keep its undefeated streak alive while Mississippi State will look to win a game that not many people expect them to when these teams collide tonight
