The Los Angeles Rams and the Jacksonville Jaguars look to end their three-game losing skids when they square off in Week 13. Here's a breakdown of this Jaguars vs Rams game to see who has the edge in this matchup.

Jacksonville Jaguars enter Week 13 as +13 underdogs

The Jacksonville Jaguars have crashed back to earth following their upset victory over the Buffalo Bills in Week 9, losing their last three games against the Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, and the Atlanta Falcons.

The Jaguars had difficulty stopping Atlanta's run game in their 21-14 loss on Sunday, with the Falcons racking up a season-high 149 yards rushing. They had no answer for Cordarelle Patterson, who ran for a career-high 108 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

It is imperative for the Jaguars that they get off to a quick start against the Rams. They trailed the entire contest against the Falcons, who scored the game's first 14 points. One guy who needs to step up for Jacksonville in Week 13 is Trevor Lawrence. He completed 23 of 42 passes for 228 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the loss to the Falcons.

The Jaguars will have their work cut out for them in Week 13 as they will face another team from the NFC in the Los Angeles Rams. The Jaguars have lost 15 consecutive games against NFC teams, a streak that spans four seasons. Jacksonville is 7-45 in its last 52 meetings with NFC opponents, including 0-4 this season.

Los Angeles Rams installed as -13 favorites

Los Angeles' losing woes show no sign of ending as the Rams crashed to their third consecutive defeat with a 36-28 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The Rams had no answer for Aaron Rodgers, who threw for 307 yards and a couple of touchdowns despite playing with a fractured toe.

It was a disappointing defeat for the Rams, who are now 0-3 since acquiring star linebacker Von Miller from the Denver Broncos in a blockbuster trade. The Rams were 7-1 at that stage, but they now find themselves trailing the Arizona Cardinals by two games in the NFC West standings.

What is more concerning for the Rams is how they lost their past three outings. They have lost by an average of 13.7 points in their last three games against the Packers, San Francisco 49ers, and Tennessee Titans. That is totally unacceptable for a team that is going all-in for a Super Bowl run this season.

The good news for the Rams is that their next opponents are the woeful Jaguars. The Rams have fared well against teams with losing records this season, going a perfect 6-0 in such games. They are just 1-4, however, against teams with winning records.
