Moroccan football star Achraf Hakimi made the headlines recently after a divorce proceeding with his ex-wife, Spanish actress Hilba Abouk.

The Spanish actress revealed last March that she was already estranged from Hakimi for weeks, according to the Spanish newspaper El Pais.

Rape allegations against the PSG defender later surfaced, with his wife commenting on the good work of the justice system regarding the serious matter.

Achraf Hakimi's Wife Reportedly Got Nothing From Divorce

The two met in 2018 while Hakimi played for the German club Borussia Dortmund. Abouk is older than Hakimi by 12 years, and they tied the knot in 2020. The couple has two sons.

Abouk filed for divorce earlier this year, ending their three-year marriage. The actress reportedly wanted half of the 24-year-old defender's assets as part of the settlement.

However, the Spanish newspaper Marca found out that Hakimi had no property or money in his name. All of his assets are named under his mother, Saida Mouh.

Even his salary from Paris-Saint Germain, reportedly worth $215,000 a week, has his mother as the beneficiary, according to Fox News. As a result, reports claim Abouk got nothing from his estranged husband in the divorce settlement.

The story made waves on social media, with fans and several personalities calling Hakimi "smart" for making the move.

However, neither side has confirmed the truthfulness of the story. As of the moment, the authenticity of the report is in question.
