MMA: Israel Adesanya Responds to X User Who Trolled Him About His Painted Nails

The rally was organized in solidarity with protests across the United States following the killing of an unarmed black man George Floyd at the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Israel Adesanya is done picking fights with fellow UFC fighters for now, but conflict just follows him wherever he goes, whatever he does.

The Stylebender promoted a film depicting his journey to stardom on his X account, and since it is the internet, some people found ways to say something negative about it.

After seeing the film poster, an X user suggested that the Nigerian-Kiwi mixed martial arts fighter has no right to talk about masculinity anymore after being seen with painted nails.

Another user came to his defense, saying, "That it really doesn't matter if he paints his nails or not. Mf is more masculine than you and OP will ever be."

This prompted Adesanya to reply with sarcasm:

Adesanya's film titled Stylebender, after his monicker, will be released on August 24.

Stylebender talks about growth

Adesanya is not shy from responding to criticisms like he did to that X user. But in his latest appearance, he showed he is not afraid to admit he's wrong.

He is in a racially-charged dispute with Dricus Du Plessis, but that is not his first. He previously went at it with Robert Whittaker over who the real Kiwi is.

Now, he is making a U-turn about it.

"Funny enough, someone brought it to my attention that I did the same thing to Rob and I was like, 'True, I did because I called him a mozzie.' And I was like, 'F*ck, they're right,'" he told the Halfcast podcast.

"But guess what? I was wrong. That's called growth. I learned. I realized that's - how's this, a black guy, telling this f*cking Maori that, 'Nah, you're not a f*cking true Kiwi because you live in Australia.' That's stupid."
