The NBA has launched an investigation into a fan incident involving Jalen Brunson during Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs, after reports surfaced of inappropriate behavior directed at the Knicks guard late in the game.
League officials are reviewing claims that two fans used profanity and made "flopping" comments toward Brunson during the closing moments of Wednesday's matchup.
The situation has since expanded beyond the court, as new allegations connect one of the individuals to earlier incidents involving other spectators.

A woman known online as @bluebeari3, or "Blue," posted video footage on social media showing a man she believes was involved in the Game 1 confrontation. She alleges that the same individual previously harassed her and a friend during another Spurs game at the Frost Bank Center, describing the encounter as aggressive and unwanted.
According to accounts shared online and by witnesses, the earlier incident happened during Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals.
Blue's manager, identified as James B., and fellow fan Julie J. Swan said the man leaned over a railing and made hostile comments. Swan said the situation escalated quickly and left them shaken.
"He came up to us at halftime and he was very suddenly in our face and we thought it was like a joke," Swan told sources.
According to Yahoo, she added that the man accused them of behaving in a way "the whole stadium hates," and said the confrontation became increasingly intense before security intervened.
In her posts, Blue also claimed the man used offensive language and made physical contact. "Then he went into a full-on rant... Then actually TOUCHING me," she wrote online. She also said security was called but did not immediately remove the individual from the arena.
NBA Continues Investigation
Despite the controversy, both Blue and Swan returned to their seats behind the Spurs bench for Game 1 of the Finals. The NBA has not confirmed identities publicly but is continuing to review video evidence and reports tied to the situation. Officials also clarified that speculation online about other individuals involved was incorrect, according to reporting from The New York Post.
The league is focusing its investigation on two fans believed to be connected to the Brunson incident.
After Game 1, Brunson briefly addressed the situation but avoided details, saying, "I'm all good about talking about that," as he shifted focus back to the Finals.
The Spurs organization has not issued a public statement, and the NBA has not announced any disciplinary action as the investigation remains ongoing.
