Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders continues to make headlines even with the Buffs' shocking loss in their last game against the Stanford Cardinal last weekend. With his success, the chatter these days is possibly seeing the 56-year-old coach taking his act to the NFL.

It should be noted that Sanders had already sounded off about being content handling the Colorado football program. However, he could be tapped to take over the head coaching chores for the spiraling Denver Broncos, per NFL odds via Bovada.

For that to happen, the Broncos would have to fire current head coach Sean Payton. Denver has not exactly been rolling this NFL season under his watch, a reason why pundits see him possibly getting sacked at some point. The Denver Broncos are currently toting a 1-5 win-loss card.

So far, Sanders is supportive of Payton despite his struggles. He is keeping the faith in the 59-year-old Broncos coach, something he stressed back in September via SI.com.

"Hey, leave my guy alone. Leave my guy alone," Sanders said. "I love the Broncos. I love their coach, and Sean Payton's my guy. He's going to get it right, I promise you that."

Regardless, the big question is, what would it take to convince Coach Prime to succeed Payton?

How can Coach Prime take over the Broncos?

It may take much money and support for Broncos management to make that happen. Sanders has proven he can rebuild and charismatically manage a football team. However, while he was able to do it at the college level, it remains to be seen if he can do it in the pro ranks.

One problem seen is how he will handle NFL players receiving fat salaries. Things are different at the NFL level, and Sanders did admit that he would have problems motivating this kind of players, NBC Sports reported.

"At the next level, some of these guys make so much money they can't hear. They can't hear or they can't see the things that they need to see and hear. I would have a hard time motivating a man that makes upwards of 20 and 30 and sometimes 40 million dollars to go out there and do your job. I got a problem with that," Sanders pointed out.
