Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark has made history by becoming the all-time leading scorer in NCAA women's basketball history.
The 22-year-old point guard achieved this feat during a game against the Michigan Wolverines on Thursday, February 15, guiding the Hawkeyes to a decisive 106-89 victory.
Clark's achievement surpasses the previous record held by current Las Vegas Aces point guard Kelsey Plum, who amassed 3,527 career points over 139 games with the Washington Huskies from 2013 to 2017.
With 3,569 career points so far, Clark is on track to surpass Pete Maravich's men's Division I record of 3,667 for the all-time NCAA scoring record. Averaging 32.7 points per game this season, she needs just four more games at this pace to surpass Maravich.
