CM Punk seems to be excited bout the upcoming 39th annual Survivor Series Premium Live Event, but not for the Men's WarGames match.
WWE Survivor Series Sets Up Huge WarGames Match

This lineup for Men's WarGames is truly stacked from top to bottom, as a World Heavyweight Champion in CM Punk will team with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos against a powerhouse squad in Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul.
With such enormous star power and two world champions in action, many predict the match could headline Survivor Series. However, CM Punk has a different main event in mind, and he's not shy about saying so.
CM Punk Wants the Women to Main Event Survivor Series
In an interview with Kay Adams on "Up & Adams," Punk spoke in support of the Women's WarGames Match to close out the show.
"I think the women should be the main event, selfishly. I do think us guys will main event. There are two titles involved there, though they are not on the line. Star power is off the charts, but I also think the star power is off the charts when it comes to the women."
Punk admitted he may be a bit biased since his wife, AJ Lee, is competing in the match, but he insists that the women's roster has earned the spotlight. And with the sheer level of talent stepping into the cage, it's hard to argue.
AJ Lee's Historic Return to the Cage
Saturday's Premium Live Event represents a seminal moment for AJ Lee, who will be competing in her first WarGames Match and first cage match of any kind. Punk believes she will come into her own in the high-pressure environment.
Her teammates bring a wealth of experience and star power as IYO SKY enters her seventh modern-era WarGames match, adding to the championship pedigree and veteran leadership brought by Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss.
According to The TakeDown, Punk colorfully described this powerhouse unit as "almost like The Breakfast Club," since it features the crazy goth, the jock, the princess, the bender, and the nerd.
